We are a growth-oriented, independent oil and natural gas company focused on the acquisition and development of unconventional oil and associated liquids-rich natural gas reserves in the Southern Delaware Basin, a sub-basin of the Permian Basin of West Texas and one of the most prolific unconventional resource plays in North America.

Our management and technical teams have extensive engineering, geoscience, land, marketing and finance capabilities and over 35 years of experience growing oil and natural gas operations.

Our acreage is located on large, contiguous blocks in the adjacent counties of Winkler, Ward, Reeves and Pecos, with significant original oil-in-place within multiple stacked hydrocarbon-bearing formations. We are focused on increasing stockholder value by (i) growing production and reserves through the development of our multi-year inventory, (ii) expanding and improving the resource potential of our existing acreage position and (iii) growing our acreage position through acquisitions and leasing efforts.

Jagged Peak Energy Inc.’s (the “Company”) responsibility is to manage all operations with the utmost respect for the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and the public as well as the environment of the areas in which we operate.  This responsibility is shared by everyone working for the Company, including our contractors.  We believe this policy is fundamental to the efficient operation of the Company and our future success.

To achieve these goals, we have established the following tenets:

  • Accountability – everyone in our organization is responsible for achieving our goals and we hold our teams accountable for their performance.

  • Compliance – we abide by all laws and regulations governing health, safety and the environment

  • Design – we are proactive in our operational design to minimize environmental and health impacts and strive to provide worksites free of safety hazards.

  • Continuous Improvement – we constantly monitor our performance in these areas and implement positive changes at every opportunity.

  • Training – we provide the necessary tools and knowledge for our employees to do their jobs in the safest manner possible.

  • Authority – everyone on our worksites has “stop work” authority and is encouraged to use it whenever they believe danger is imminent.
